What is the IELTS exam?

The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is the world's most widely recognised English test for study, work and migration — accepted by more than 12,500 organisations, including universities, employers and the immigration authorities of Australia, Canada, the UK and New Zealand. It tests four skills and is scored in bands from 0 to 9, including half bands (for example 6.5 or 7.5).

What is the difference between IELTS Academic and General Training?

IELTS Academic is for university admission and professional registration; IELTS General Training is for migration, work and secondary education. Listening and Speaking are the same in both; Reading and Writing differ. We prepare you for whichever version your goal requires.

What IELTS band score do I need?

Most universities ask for an overall band of 6.0 to 7.0, often with a minimum in each skill. Skilled-migration visas for Australia, Canada and the UK usually require 6.0 in each band or higher. We help you target and reach your exact requirement.

How long does it take to prepare for IELTS?

Many students are exam-ready in about two months with our 24-session course, depending on your starting level. Learners who need to build English first can take our Full Membership course (unlimited duration).

IELTS has a face-to-face speaking test and is very widely recognised; PTE is fully computer-scored, fast and predictable. The best choice depends on your target country, deadline and strengths — and we train both.
